Competence models in prevention education are a very challenging and topical issue. The definitions of prevention workers’ knowledge, skills, and competences are becoming the key aspect of further development. An example of a project aimed at creating a competence model on an international level is A four-level model of education in prevention. Some countries are also trying to introduce their own national versions and integrate them into their system of education and quality standards.
